This is an $800 per person, 8 hour train ride from St. Moritz to Zermatt in Switzerland 🚂🏔️ #kkarmaloveonthego 🏷️SAVE this post for your next trip! Would you go on this train ride? 🚂 Slowest express train in the world, the trip takes 8 hours and travels at an average of 18 mph. I thought this ride was going to feel like forever but they spaced the meals really well, that I was sad for the trip to be over so soon 😭 💵 If you don’t have time to do the full 8 hours, on a budget, or have a specific destination you need to go to you can buy a regular ticket. The excellence class is an additional $450 on top of a first class train ticket and you have to do the full 8 hours either from St. Moritz to Zermatt or the other way around. 🍽️ The 5 course meal and pairing were all really good! My favorite was the smoked trout. They also offer you more wine 🍷 Honestly was it worth it? YES! Would I do it again?
