This is the secret to the most tender Prime Rib you’ll try this holiday season! I make this every year and it goes viral, have you made this before? Recipe down below! 🤤 🔥 Ingredients: For the Marinade • 1 gallon whole milk • 1 bottle Creole butter For the Prime Rib • 4 bones prime rib (10 pounds) For the Seasoning Concoction • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Preem-O • 4 tbsp mayonnaise • 1 tbsp stone-ground mustard Additional • 4 pieces of long twine • Paper towels Instructions: Marinate the Prime Rib: • In a large container, submerge the prime rib in 1 gallon of whole milk. • Add the entire bottle of Creole butter to the milk and mix well. • Using an injector, inject the milk and Creole butter mixture into the prime rib on all sides. •Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Prepare the Prime Rib: • After 24 hours, remove the prime rib from the refrigerator and dry it thoroughly with paper towels. • Carefully cut towards the bone on the backside to trim off excess fat, including the fat cap (this can often be pulled off with your hands). • Tie the prime rib with 4 pieces of long twine to hold it together while it rests. • Let the prime rib rest for 1-2 hours until it gets to room temperature. Season the Prime Rib: • In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, stone-ground mustard, and Dan-O’s Preem-O until well combined. • Rub the seasoning concoction all over the prime rib, making sure to cover all sides and the bottom. Sprinkle additional Dan-O’s Preem-O generously on top. Prepare for Cooking : • Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C). • Place the seasoned prime rib in the center of a baking pan with a rack. Lay it on its side to apply the seasoning mixture evenly on the top. Cook the Prime Rib: • Bake the prime rib at 275°F for 2 hours. • After 2 hours, increase the oven temperature to 300°F (150°C) and cook for an additional 50 minutes. • Finally, crank the oven up to 500°F (260°C) and roast for 10 minutes to achieve a nice crust. Rest and Serve: • Once cooked, remove the prime rib from the oven and let it rest for 2 hours, covered with foil. This allows the juices to redistribute. • After resting, cut off the twine and skewer. • Slice and serve with au jus sauce and horseradish (recipes will be on the website soon!) In my last video we had some people ask about the horseradish sauce, so I’m here to show ya how to make it! Perfect for that Prime Rib! 🤤🙌🔥 Ingredients: - 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Crunchy - Fresh prepared horseradish (about half a jar) - 1 scoop of mayonnaise (about 1 tablespoon) - 2 tbsp of table cream (not sour cream) Instructions: - Prepare the Horseradish Start by measuring out about half a jar of fresh prepared horseradish. - This will be the base of your sauce and provides the signature flavor. - Scoop in the mayonnaise. This will help to create a creamy texture for the sauce. - Add the table cream (not sour cream). This adds richness to the sauce without overpowering the horseradish flavor. - Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Crunchy. This will enhance the overall flavor profile of the sauce. - Using a spoon, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. - Taste and Adjust, if you prefer a creamier texture, add a little more table cream. For a stronger horseradish flavor, you can add more horseradish as desired. - Serve! Enjoy your Homemade Horseradish Sauce and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum! #cookwithme #cookingathome #EasyRecipe #sauce #danosseasoning
@Kevin Ashton taught everyone how to make his Sheet Pan Lasagna, so naturally I have to try it… the Dan-O’s way! 🤤🔥 Ingredients: - 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O™ Seasoning - 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning - 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Cheesoning® Seasoning - 2 packs (1 pound each) of lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 2 pounds ground beef - 1 pound Italian sausage - 2 jars (32 ounces each) marinara sauce - 8 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese (divided) -1 bushel (approximately 2 cups) fresh spinach, chopped - 32 ounces ricotta cheese - 1 large egg Preparation Instructions: - Preheat your oven to 350°F. - Prepare the Noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and allow to cool slightly. Cut the lasagna noodles into small pieces and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and gently toss to keep the noodles separated. - Cook the Meat: In a large skillet, add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp of Dan-O’s Italian-O™ and Dan-O’s Original. Cook over medium heat, breaking the meat apart with a spatula until fully browned and cooked through. - Once cooked, add the 2 jars of marinara sauce to the meat mixture and stir well. Remove from heat. - Combine Meat Sauce and Noodles: In the bowl with the cut lasagna noodles, add the cooked meat sauce and 4 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix everything together until well combined. - Pour the mixture into a 13x18 inch sheet pan, spreading it evenly. Spread 3 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dish. - Make the Ricotta Balls: In a separate bowl, combine the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese with the rest of the Dan-O’s Italian-O™, Dan-O’s Cheesoning®, and the chopped spinach. Add the ricotta cheese and the egg. Then mix well using your hands until fully combined. - With your hands, form small balls of the ricotta mixture. Place the ricotta balls evenly over the lasagna mixture in the sheet pan. - Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. - Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy your Dantastic® sheet pan lasagna. #pasta #lasagna #danosseasoning #cookwithme #cookingathome
