#ad Before I set up and organize the automotive corner of my shop I decided to clean and organize all my old tools so I can give them to whichever of my kids expresses an interest in working on vehicles. First up was the screw driver drawer so I grabbed some of the white @Toolgrid sections and the screw driver kit and got to work organizing! I got to be honest, it’s pretty fun! Now that I’ve done it and am more familiar with it I think I’ll go back and rotate some of the bigger ones and condense them more so I can fit more in 👍 #workshop #organization
#ad Organizing the ratchet, socket, extensions drawer with the @Toolgrid system. Now I can easily see which pieces are missing (ironically not the 10mm). This is a mismatch drawer of pieces of different tool sets gathered over the years that is now at least organized and easy to work with
#ad First test cuts with the @mafell.de_offiziell ZSX carpentry chain saw! Strait cuts, angle cuts and compound mitre cuts with incredibly clean cut lines!
#ad Now that’s almost spring we are planning a garden down by the creek and since I don’t have power down there yet I grabbed this @Einhell Canada 18v cordless water pump so we can water the garden
#ad Two steps for gluing up a timber cross lap. First, use the King RAS to precisely turn the section I don’t want into sawdust. Second is to grab some @Titebond Products and fit the two sections together #woodworking #tools
#ad Time to set up the SE corner of this shop as the automotive/ mechanics corner and I decided to set it up with @Milwaukee Tool as they have a huge range of mechanics tools with pretty much everything I need. Eventually this whole shop will be the automotive/ equipment/ toy/ truck build/ metalwork shop but until I build the new woodwork shop I will just set up the one corner and get a start on working on some vehicle projects #tools #workshop
#ad Here’s a handy portable cordless air compressor from @Einhell Canada that I’m going to put in my truck. Will be great for inflating tires on bikes and ATV’s and for beach days and cleaning things off #tools
#ad Picked up a Kimg Canada dust collection kit and more clear pipe as well as some white pipe to add to the stuff I already had from the last shop to start assembling the dust collection and @gritautomation system with the help of some @Einhell Canada tools. Since this is a temporary set up until I build the new shop I thought I’d just add to the white pipe I already had rather than get a full tin system made up so I will need to ground the system and in particular the Grit blast gates as the plastic will generate some static that can interfere with the operation of the blast gates. #woodworking #workshop
#ad Using the @Festool Canada DOMINO XL joiner to secure the final piece on this end section of the vanity and a quick dry fit text before glue up #festoolpartner #woodworking
#ad To put some adjustable foot pegs on the bottom of the vanity I grabbed the @Festool Canada CXS drill and a forstner bit and Brad point bit to make the holes and then sunk in threaded insert and then the threaded foot pegs
