Cheesy Caramelized Onion Dip with Crispy Bacon ❤️🔥 It’s cozy, it’s warm, and it’s incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a side/dip to bring to Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving, make this one. Trust me, it’ll be gone in minutes. Here’s how to make it:
1 lb thick-cut bacon, cut into small pieces 2 yellow onions, sliced 2 shallots, sliced Pinch of salt Water (for caramelizing) 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 cup sour cream, room temp 1/2 cup mayo, room temp 4 oz sharp cheddar, shredded 4 oz mozzarella, shredded 2 oz mozzarella, shredded (to top) 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Freshly cracked pepper, to taste 6 cloves garlic, minced 1-2 tsp fresh thyme 1-2 tsp balsamic vinegar 1 tsp brown sugar Crispy fried onions (for topping) 1. Cook the bacon in a large pot or skillet over medium/high heat until crispy. 2. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving 1/4 cup of the bacon grease in the pan. 3. Add the sliced onions and shallots to the pan with a pinch of salt and a splash of water. Cook over medium/high heat. 4. Continue adding splashes of water throughout the cooking process to prevent the onions from burning. Stir frequently until the onions and shallots are caramelized (about 40-50 minutes). 5. While the onions are caramelizing, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, shredded cheddar, 4oz shredded mozzarella, Worcestershire sauce, salt, freshly cracked pepper, and the crispy bacon (save some bacon for topping). Mix and set aside. 6. In the last 2–3 minutes of caramelizing, add the garlic, fresh thyme, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined. 7. Let the caramelized onions and shallots cool slightly before mixing them into the cheese mixture. 8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with the remaining mozzarella, and sprinkle with the reserved crispy bacon. 9. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then top with crispy fried onions and finish under the broiler for 2–3 minutes, until golden and bubbly. 10. Serve with your favoritr crackers and enjoy!

Thanksgiving Recipes Episode 8: No-Bake Biscoff Cheesecake🫶🏼🤎 recipe below! You guys have been wanting recipes you can make in advance, and this one is perfect to do that. This cheesecake can be made 1-4 days in advance, or the day of! Ingredients: * 2 blocks of room temperature cream cheese (16oz) * 1/3 heaping cup of sugar * 1tbsp vanilla * 1 cup heavy cream (also at room temp) * 1 packet of Biscoff cookies (8.8oz) * Biscoff cookie butter *NOTE: if you want a thicker crust, more crust, or you want to add extra crumbs to the top of the cheesecake, get an extra packet of the Biscoff cookies! Directions: 1. Prepare the crust first by mashing the cookies until they are a fine crumb. Using a food processor makes it easier, but you can also use something like a cup or a spoon. 2. Add room temperature butter to the finely ground crumbs, and mix until fully combined 3. I recommend a spring form pan for presentation (10 inches) but you can use any pan and just make more crust if needed. If your pan is smaller, you’ll have a lot of filling per slice. (I like less filling per slice) 4. Form the crust in your pan, try to make the bottom as even as possible with the bottom of a measuring cup. I use my fingers to crimp the sides at the end. 5. Put the crust into the freezer for 20 minutes 6. While the crust is in the freezer, make the filling. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to combine. 7. In a medium bowl, whip together the heavy cream and 2 heaping tablespoons of the cookie butter together until it forms a stiff peak. It’ll be like whipped cream. 8. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese base until combined. 9. When your crust is ready, transfer the filling into the pan. Smooth the top until it’s even. You can add a 1/4 cup of melted cookie butter on top at this point, but I prefer to let the filling chill on its own for 3 hours before decorating so it holds it shape better. 10. If you decide to put the melted cookie butter on top before letting the filling chill, you can either pour it to cover the top or do a drizzle. Then let it chill for 3-4 hours 11. If you decided to let the base chill first, take it out after 3 hours and add the cookie butter on top after. Also add some cookie crumbs if you want to be fancy! Then let it chill for another 30 minutes-1 hour 12. Enjoy!! I hope you guys love this one :) #thanksgiving #thanksgivingdinner #thanksgivingrecipes #EasyRecipe #DinnerIdeas #biscoff #cheesecake #nobake #nobakedessert #nobakecheesecake

Slowy Brasied Beef Ragú Recipe ❤️🔥 It’s the best ragú I’ve ever made. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients 2-2.5 lbs chuck roast, cut into 4 pieces Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp butter 1 medium onion, finely diced 2 carrots, finely diced 2 celery stalks, finely diced 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, adjust to taste) 6-8 cloves garlic, minced 2-3 tbsp tomato paste 500 ml (about 2 cups) dry red wine 1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes, crushed with your hands 1 cup @Kettle & Fire beef broth (or enough to ensure meat is mostly submerged) 1 Parmesan rind 3–4 sprigs fresh thyme 2 sprigs fresh rosemary 1 bay leaf 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
For Serving: 1 lb pappardelle pasta, plus reserved pasta water Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (a lot!) Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). 2. Cut a the chuck roast into 4 pieces and season generously with salt and pepper. 3. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the chuck roast pieces on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the beef and set aside. 4. Lower the heat to medium and add 2 tbsp butter to the pot. Add the carrot, celery, and onion. Season with Italian seasoning, red pepper, salt and pepper. Sauté until softened, about 8–10 minutes. 5. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, until fragrant. 6. Clear a space in the center of the pot. Add the tbsp tomato paste and let it caramelize undisturbed for 1–2 minutes, then stir into the vegetables. 7. Pour in the red wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly. 8. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and beef stock. Season again with salt and pepper to taste. 9. Add the Parmesan rind, fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, and bay leaf to the pot. 10. Return the seared beef to the pot, ensuring it is mostly submerged in the sauce. Cover with a lid and transfer to the oven. 11. Bake for 4 hours, stirring every once in a while.
12. Once the beef is fork-tender, remove the pot from the oven. Discard the Parmesan rind (if you can find it), thyme sprigs, rosemary sprigs, and bay leaf. 13. Use a wooden spoon to shred the beef directly in the pot—it should fall apart easily. 14. Stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk (optional) for a creamy finish. 15. Cook 1 lb pappardelle pasta according to package instructions. Add the noodles directly into the ragu sauce. Add in pasta water and butter as/if needed. 16. Serve topped with a generous amount of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh parsley or basil. Enjoy! #ragu #beefragu #ragusauce #ragú #ragurecipe #braised #pasta #wintermeals #winterrecipes #cozymeals #cozyrecipes #comfortfood #coldweathermeals #slowcookedbeef #slowcooked #braisedbeef #cooking #FoodTok #ragubolognese #pastatok #ragupasta

Potatoes au Gratin ✨ Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients: 3 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet, thinly sliced) 4 tbsp butter 1 small onion, finely chopped) 6-8 cloves garlic, minced (to taste) 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional) 3 cups half and half 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 bay leaf 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme (or 1 tsp dried thyme) 2 tbsp flour 7oz grated Gruyère 4 oz grated white cheddar 4 oz grated Parmesan Salt and pepper, to taste A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Chives to garnish Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and arrange your sliced potatoes in the dish. Cover with a wet paper towel and set aside.
2. In a small saucepan, combine the half and half, bay leaf, thyme, and dijon. Heat over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Reduce heat and let it gently simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat, discard the bay leaf and thyme sprigs. 3. While your half and half is warming, in a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
4. Add in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds.
5. Deglaze the pan with 1/2 cup white wine, and cook until reduced by half. 6. Add the flour and stir constantly for 1-2 minutes. 7. Gradually add the infused half and half, stirring/whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Continue to cook over medium heat, whisking, until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg. 8. Remove from heat and gradually stir in the Gruyère, white cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses, reserving a bit of each for the topping. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasonings as needed. 9. Layer the thinly sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Pour the cheese and cream sauce evenly over the potatoes, making sure all slices are coated. 10. Top with the reserved cheeses, cover with foil, and bake for 60-70 minutes. Place another baking sheet or foil beneath the pan, it will bubble over. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. You can also finish under the broiler in the last 5 minutes of cooking. 11. Let the gratin rest for a few minutes before serving. wine braised short ribs heal the soul🍷🥩 recipe below🫶🏼 INGREDIENTS: - 4 large bone-in short ribs (about 2.5lbs) - 2-3 carrots, chopped - one whole onion, chopped - two shallots, chopped - one celery stalk, chopped - one whole head of garlic, cut in half - two sprigs of rosemary and thyme - 1 tbsp of tomato paste - 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce - half bottle of red wine (I used three wishes) - two cups of beef broth - 1tsp of chicken bouillon - 1 tbsp black pepper corn - salt & pepper to taste - 4 tbsp flour - 2tbsp of unsalted butter (for wine reduction sauce) - chives for garnish DIRECTIONS: 1. take out your short ribs an hour in advance. after they are room temperature, pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any moisture and season generously with some flaky salt and pepper 2. sear the short ribs on medium-high heat in a Dutch oven until all sides are browned (2-3 mins per side), then remove from the pot and set aside 3. In the same pot you had the short ribs in, add in the chopped carrots, onions, shallots, and celery. sprinkle some more salt over the veggies and sauté for two minutes 4. after they have softened, add in 2tbsp of flour and the tomato paste. sauté another two minutes 5. add in the wine and allow it to reduce for 4-5 minutes, then add the worcestershire sauce 6. put in your beef broth, then mix in the chicken bouillon for an extra boost of flavor 7. put the short ribs back into the pot, then add in the black pepper corn, garlic, and herbs 8. cover the pot with either the lid or a cartouche, then put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 2-2.5 hours 9. when the short ribs are done, remove them from the pot (the bones should fall right off) and set them aside. strain any remaining liquid in the pot to separate it from all the veggies and herbs. 10. take the strained liquid and skim off any fat. then in a medium pan on medium heat, add in 2tbsp of flour and a knob of butter. cook until you have a thickened wine reduction sauce. 11. plate your short ribs over rice or mashed potatoes, and top with the wine reduction sauce 12. enjoy the fruits of your labor!! #shortribs #wine #beefshortribs #sundaydinner #dinner #DinnerIdeas #datenight #hosting

This is the BEST no knead soft crusty bread that my moms friend gave me the recipe for years ago and besides my sandwich bread it’s the only one I ever make because it’s SO easy ( and forgiving in terms of rising time!) 3 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp active yeast 1 1/2 cups warm water (not hot just a good warm) 2 tsp salt 1. Add the yeast to the warm water and let it bloom for 3-5 mins 2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until incorporated (like 2 minutes) you can use a spoon or a mixer your choice! 3. Cover the bowl with plastic and let it rise for 2-3 hours * after 2-3 hours you can either bake immediately OR place in fridge for up to 2 days and let ferment ( I normally do 24 hours. And then bake) 4. When ready to bake if in fridge take out and bring to room temp(30 mins) if doing immediately then preheat oven to 450 and place an enamel pot with lid in oven while preheating (like a Dutch oven) 5. Place dough on parchment paper and form into a ball and then place the parchment into the Dutch oven pot and place lid on top and bake for 30 mins 6. After 30 mins take lid off and bake an additional 12 mins 7. Take out and let rest on rack completely before cutting and wrap tightly and keeps for about a week on counter #bread #breadtok #EasyRecipe #homemade #homemaker #kitchenrestock #newyear #newyeargoals #2025 #fy #fypシ
