I always said that if I wasn’t a musician I’d love to be a director - there’s something beautiful about bringing the imagination to life and orchestrating whole new worlds. It’s something I’ve always done with my music videos. This time I got a chance to fully focus on being behind the camera and breathing life into a world we created from scratch. As many of you will know one of my life long dreams is to create a television series that marries the world of music and film - and opportunities like this I get to move closer to that dream. Big love to @ramblefilms for helping bring this vision to life beautifully - and to the very talented @brigita.gr for absolutely nailing the staring role. I’m excited to lean into this story more and exploring the dystopian wasteland that is the world of @sickboihq with new exciting concepts and ideas. As far as I’m aware merging a clothing brand with a story based series is a first, correct me if I’m wrong!? But it’s exciting to be boldly treading new ground and carving out creative paths in marketing. What I love is when people see it and scratch their head because they don’t quite get it - so is it a film? Is it a story? Or an advert? then the penny drops and they get all excited.
