UPDATE: Planned Parenthood is suing the Trump administration over this targeted attack. On Monday, July 28, a federal Court ruled that Medicaid patients can continue to get care at all Planned Parenthood health centers while the case continues. This means that patients will be able to access care at Planned Parenthood health centers for now. But the fight goes on. #plannedparenthood #healthcare

Immigrants aren’t the problem. They’re the reason this country functions. My mother served this country quietly and selflessly caring for disabled U.S. citizens until the day she died. She didn’t wear a uniform. She wore scrubs. And like so many others, all she ever wanted was the chance to work, to contribute, and to raise her children. Instead of opportunity, immigrants today are met with cruelty, fear, and family separation. People who want nothing more than to serve are being hunted and we must speak up.
