The year I published my first book, went to the Nobel Prize ceremony, the European Union, a launch party by the European Space Agency, won the Nordic Pioneers Award and started my PhD studies at the University of Oxford. But also the year when I lost a dear friend, a close family member getting cancer and me starting a recovering process from something earlier. In many ways a year of dreams fulfilled, but unfortunately also nightmares realised. ❤️‍🩹 My 2024. I’m now even more certain about what I value in life, and even if there have been many hard moments, I’m so happy to have so many good memories to look back at. New friends, new opportunities and new interests. I’m truly proud of everything I’ve experienced, whether it was an achievement or something hard I had to go through. Here are some happy memories in numbers: Attended 2️⃣ summer schools (France, Italy) and 1️⃣ conference (Switzerland)!! 1️⃣ driving license gained! Met 5️⃣ Nobel Prize laureates Visited 6️⃣ countries: Norway, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland (not counting UK/Sweden) Met 1️⃣ Leader of the European Commission Sold 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ copies of my book within 5️⃣ days Was on national TV (at least) 5️⃣ times Featured (at least) 2️⃣0️⃣ times in newspapers and magazines, with 2️⃣ covers 1️⃣3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣+ matches in dominion(.games) Thank you to my friends, family, all of you(!), for celebrating and supporting me through the ups and downs. I can’t believe we’re 1️⃣6️⃣1️⃣ 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣+ here on Instagram. It’s a responsibility I’m taking seriously.
