Did I mention I tried so hard?! I very much dislike mile time trials because I don’t like trying hard or feeling uncomfortable and they are both of those things. These are called “magic miles” in the Galloway Method and the last one I did was five weeks before this one. I overthink things like this…or maybe I just think and everyone else underthinks them? Are you a salty sweater??? Apparently I’m a mid salty sweater 🤷♀️ One thing that surprised me about this analysis is I should’ve been hydrating during this short run. And in an hour I should have over 20oz of hydration 🤯 next step is to do more tests to get an accurate baseline and start experimenting with hydration products that match my sweat profile. One thing about me is I want to feel less horrible so if learning to properly hydrate helps that, I will do it. Also science is fun 🧪🧫 #Running #hydration #scienceisfun #tryingnewthings
Drones, meteors, and snacks OH MY! It was really cold, so I was thankful for light winds (for once!) Also thankful for feeling pretty ok during and after. 10 miles looked intimidating when I saw it on the calendar but I did it before my brain got in the way.
