2024, the year that broke me and rebuilt me. In January, we found out we were going to be parents. We moved from California to New York, and by the end of June, our world fell apart. It felt impossible to move forward from the devasting loss of our son, but we worked to rebuild this new version of ourselves and find the blessings in each day. While it feels like this year took so much from me, there is so much it blessed me with as well. A new perspective on life, love, and growth, a deeper connection with my husband, a full passport, a community who lifted me up, a healthy nephew, the ability to empathize and connect with those who grieve their losses, and so much more. This year has introduced me to pain I didn’t know existed and strength in myself I didn’t think was possible. And to all of you—thank you. For sharing your stories, encouragement, and walking alongside me through the highs and the lows of this past year. Your kindness has meant more than words can say. Farewell, 2024—the year that changed me forever.

Big thanks to @airbnb and @GladiatorMovie for flying us out to the actual COLOSSEUM in Rome so Jon could live out his gladiator dreams! 🏛️ Who’s brave enough to step into the ring with him next? 💪 #GladiatorII #airbnbpartner
