She looked at me with genuine pride and said, “I’m proud of you.” Those words felt like a hug for my soul. 2025, you’re already unforgettable. This moment is a sign that this year holds so much promise. Standing before one of the most incredible women I’ve admired for years, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and nervous excitement. I had so much to say, but my emotions got the best of me. And then, she said something I’ll never forget: “It’s Black Girl Magic.” That meant everything to me. Genevieve, I promise to keep making you proud. From the depths of my heart, I love and appreciate you more than words can express. Thank you for reminding me that dreams really do come true.
