This year has been nothing short of life-changing. As a mom of two—with a new baby finding her stride, my husband deployed for the second year in a row, launching my dream company with my best friend, and running my social media business—I’ve learned more about resilience, grace, and the beauty of imperfection than I ever thought possible. Here are the lessons I’ll carry with me forever: 1️⃣ Grace is everything. For myself, my kids, and the chaos. Some days don’t go as planned, and that’s okay. 2️⃣ It’s okay to not have it all together. The myth of balance is just that—a myth. Some days, the house is a mess, dinner is late, and emails go unanswered, but my babies are happy, and that’s enough. 3️⃣ Celebrate the small moments. First steps, belly laughs, bedtime snuggles—these are the things that matter, even when the big stuff feels overwhelming. 4️⃣ You are stronger than you think. I’ve faced moments I thought would break me, but they only proved what I’m capable of. 5️⃣ Ask for help. You truly can’t do it all alone, and you don’t have to. 6️⃣ Boundaries are essential. Saying ‘no’ to things that don’t align with my priorities has been one of the most empowering shifts. 7️⃣ Small wins are big wins. A quiet moment with the kids or a successful nap schedule can feel as big as launching a brand. 8️⃣ Dreams don’t wait for perfect timing. Starting a business while navigating deployment and newborn life wasn’t ideal, but waiting would’ve been an even bigger regret. 9️⃣ Presence over perfection. My kids don’t need a perfect mom—they need one who’s present, even if the to-do list isn’t done. 🔟 Self-care isn’t selfish. Whether it’s a quiet cup of coffee before the chaos or a late-night skincare routine, or a getaway with some girlfriends; I’ve learned I can’t pour from an empty cup. This year stretched me in every way, but it also brought so much joy, growth, and perspective. I’m proud of the woman, mom, and business owner I’m becoming—and I’m endlessly grateful for the journey that brought me here.
Love is always worth it, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. Choosing him was the easiest decision I’ve ever made—living through the hard parts is just part of the deal.
