Hotel: Thousand Nights Sharqiya Sands Camp. I loved my stay here, and yes, that was the moon through a telescope at the end! Subhanallah. In addition to breakfast and dinner being included in the price, the hotel also offered stargazing and other activities at the resort. Local tour guides are also available to arrange activities like camel riding and ATV rides. Regarding transportation, the resort will contact you via WhatsApp once you book to inform you that they offer pick-up from the outskirts of Muscat to the resort (which is quite deep in the desert). I recommend paying the extra fee (I think it was 40 Omani) because the drive isn’t easy. It took about 45 minutes with a 4x4, so it's definitely more reassuring to have someone who’s familiar with the route. I’d also recommend arriving before sunset for a safer drive. The logistics of transportation do require some planning, but it was my first time glamping in the desert, and I would definitely do it again. 💫 #oman #glamping #muslimah #blackgirltravel #desert
