🤣 My mom called me about 5 minutes after she left my house and VERY seriously asked, “Kimberly… do you think we were outside long enough that we could’ve gotten frostbite? I am freezing!” (For reference, we were outside for maybe just over a half an hour refreshing bedding in houses). I laughed and said, “No mom, you don’t have frostbite. But I’m glad you got to see firsthand why I tell you that wintertime animal chores are the bane of my existence.” I’m very close with my parents and siblings (both emotionally and physical distance, ha), but they aren’t really involved with my rescue animals - they have busy lives of their own.
